This tutorial is mainly for my students at The
Norwegian Academy of Music but everyone is welcome. Its not a complete
tutorial, its intended as a support for the students at the academy, but
it can be used as a self study. If you have any comments or suggestions please e-mail me.
I prefer positive an constructive comments :-) after all I'm doing this for free
(its not a part of my work at the academy to produce tutorials on
the internet) .

short introduction to Battery 2.

1-2.
|
The first video is about:
-How to open a Battery Kit.
-Audition Cells.
-Playing the drums sounds from a MIDI keyboard.
You should spend some time just familiarize yourself
with the Battery library. And remember to take notes of what Kits and sounds
(Cells)
you
liked
in particular.
Programming that's emulates what happens when you
play an High-hat.
One Cell is muting an other Cell.
Remember what I wrote above? Not!
If
you are new to Battery you should stop now and load/test some other Kits
:- )
Just go to the
File>Open and select an other Kit.
You will
then be asked if you want to delete (or save) the kit that loaded, choose the
appropriate (usually Yes to delete).
Changing Cell sounds.
-How to change the cell sound.
-Saving edited Kits.
